If more women had access to a community/activity like this there would be much lower rates of post natal depression. In fact, I think NSW Health should give you a few grants 🙂

  2. Buggy Bootcamp is a great fitness option for new and second (or third) time Mums. I joined BBC when I have my first child and back again with my second. The sessions make the most of limited ‘free’ time busy Mums have. The trainers are excellent and there are plenty of opportunities to compare baby notes with like minded people.

    With a view of manly beach and releasing some natural endorphins through exercise it’s just amazing ! And the free coffees once a month just outstanding !
    I leave feeling so good and ready to tackle the day ahead . The trainers are so professional , friendly and just lovely . They make you feel welcome every session . They look after your pelvic floor and asses your form every session . They have so much experience in the industry .
    I truly can’t recommend them and this business more it’s just fantastic ! X

  4. Love Buggy Bootcamp! The best place to start a day! Every session is different with a lot of fun for mums and kids! Such a great way to get fit after having a baby.? We moved to Australia few months ago and for me it was a perfect way to meet new people and make new friends!? Carly and Lynsay are excellent trainers, very professional and friendly! I highly recommend BB to all new mums!

  5. Love being on mat leave even more because of BB – best thing i could have signed up for. Options for start times depending on how bub is doing, the outdoor setting is motivation enough, both Carly & Lindsay are superb trainers, the group of girls you get to mix with are fantastic. Highly recommend – gets the energy flowing and each class is different so never a dull workout.

  6. Love Buggy Bootcamp! Getting outdoors and exercising in the fresh air with amazing ocean views and other like-minded mums. You go at your own pace and ability. Every session is different, so lots of variety from trainers Carly and Lynsay – who are both excellent. I highly recommend Buggy Bootcamp to make you feel good, inside and out!

  8. Buggy Bootcamp has been a saviour in becoming a new mum. Being outside in a beautiful setting, keeping fit with mum’s in a similar boat.   10. I highly recommend Buggy Bootcamp for all new mums. Such a fantastic way to stay fit, socialize with other mums and motivation to get out of the house after those dreaded sleepless nights. Almost a year since joining, my little one now loves joining in on the fun playing with other older babies and watching her mum run around. Carly and Lindsay make each session exciting and different. Not to mention the amazing location overlooking the beach, the monthly coffee catch ups, the high number of sessions on the timetable, the new friends I have made…I can’t praise buggy bootcamp enough – clearly!

  12. If you’re looking for an amazing trainer, pre or post baby, Carly Steggles is your lady with OzSquad or Buggy Bootcamp. You can now stop looking!! I joined Buggy Bootcamp four months after having my baby. I had tried two other training options prior to finding Carly but this is group training, at its BEST!!! The sessions are never the same, she understands each client’s ability and keeps you motived. For me as a new mum it was really important to find a trainer that had experience, not just a qualification. Carly is not just a trainer but an athlete herself and her experience and knowledge for fitness is outstanding. I also can’t speak highly enough of Lynsay who also is part of both these groups. Her circuit and strength training was one of my favourite classes. Offering classes 5 days a week with a flexible timetable, it’s easy to get fit, have fun, meet new people and fit it into your day. Best training ever. Thank you ladies xx

  13. Buggy bootcamp is such a great way to get back into exercise after having a baby. The trainers are fantastic and the classes are alway new and challenging. You can’t get a much better spot for a workout than the beach front and I always leave feeling so good which is a bonus as a new mum. Another bonus is meeting other new mums and now my baby is a bit older she loves playing on the grass and with other babies.
    I honestly couldn’t recommend buggy bootcamp enough.

  14. Buggy Bootcamp was the best decision to get my fitness back after having my daughter – Exercising outdoors, by the beach, is a great incentive to get up and out for the day. I love the variety of exercises set in each training session, meaning you never get bored doing the same thing. Carly and Lynsay are so lovely and fun and they definitely know how to safely push you to get the most out of your training! It’s a great way to get bub outdoors to play while you train, meet other lovely mums and enjoy a social coffee each month!! I highly recommend Buggy Bootcamp!!!

Carly creates the most unique classes I have ever experienced – they are always varied, challenging, focused, sociable and fun. All levels of fitness and experience are tailored for and I shall miss the variety and flexibility of the timetable when I am back in the UK. Thank you!

  16. I have nothing but great things to say about the sessions! I love how varied they are and how each one pushes me to my limits! Buggy bootcamp is much better suited to me than what joining a gym would be as I know that I wouldn’t work as hard on my own so the motivation that we receive from yourself, Lynsay and Vanessa in the sessions is invaluable! I am really starting to notice a difference in my fitness levels. Being new to Sydney then social side of Buggy bootcamp has also been great for me! It has enabled me to build networks with other like minded mums who I wouldn’t have had the opportunity of meeting otherwise.

  17. One of the best decisions that I made on my maternity leave. There is no way that I would have committed to doing the level of exercise that Buggy Bootcamp provides without with the support and enthusiasm of Carly (& Sarah). It’s also a great reason to get out of the house in those early months, when it can all be a bit hectic. As I also have only a moderate level of fitness, I appreciated the different levels offered and of course the supportive bub-friendly environment.

  18. Buggy Bootcamp has honestly been one of the best things I’ve done since having my daughter! Not only does it start the day so well for me and I feel alive, but Carly and Lynsay are honestly the best trainers about. It’s a great combo of meeting people and being social as well as getting a really good work out. I was back to my pre-pregnancy shape much faster than I ever expected before. The other girls are all like minded souls and I’ve found it really useful to meet mums with babies of different ages as you get a different perspective than just your mums group where our babies are all the same age.
    Can’t recommend it highly enough. Am gutted to be leaving 🙁

  20. Buggy Bootcamp is a fabulous way to get back into exercise post birth. Carly and Lynsay are awesome at easing you into it, modifying exercises to suit, and then encouraging you to improve and regain your fitness at your own pace. It’s great to be able to take Bub along too. The trainers are very helpful at rocking prams to help settle! This is the perfect way to get back into exercise whilst adjusting to life as a new mum. Everyone is very supportive and I highly recommend.

  22. I am loving my Buggy Bootcamp sessions. After just a few months I think I am actually fitter than I was pre-pregnancy! The sessions are tough but Carly modifies exercises to suit you whatever stage you’re at – whether its 6 weeks or 6 months since you had your baby. Its a great way to start the day and meet local, like-minded Mums. Thanks Carly!

  23. I was really nervous to get back into exercise especially with a baby and pram in tow. I had anxiety that my baby was going to scream the whole time and it was going to be a nightmare but I think all the bubs love being out and about! The training is as hard as you want it to be, the location couldn’t be better and Carly is so lovely and encouraging. I highly recommend giving it a go.

  24. Buggy Bootcamp has been a highlight of both of my maternity leave breaks, and helped me achieve a level of fitness I would not have expected post babies. If you’re one of those people who have walked past a session and wondered whether you should join – just do it. You’ll not find better trainers & you’ll be amazed at how much fitter you’ll be in such a short time. Best decision ever!

  25. The other week I felt my tricep for the first time whilst driving! I didn’t even know it was my tricep until Carly told me! That’s how clueless I was to fitness before Buggy Bootcamp. I’m feeling stronger, fitter and surprised at how my body is responding to all this new exercise! Thank you Carly and Lynsay for making me feel like I can do it!!!

  26. I started buggy bootcamp when bubba was 7 weeks, now 12 weeks and I feel great, actually amazing. I can’t imagine a better way to train -it’s on manly beach with motivating and fun mums and I can bring bubba. I started with just one a week and at week 10, stepped it up to unlimited and aim to go 4 times a week now. I have heaps more energy, one dress size down and have another great support group. Thanks….x

  29. I’m very glad Carly came into our mums group and ‘flyered’ us up! Has been a great motivation to get moving, especially when you’re still finding your way with a small baby – and the best thing about it is that you can go your own pace. Sessions are awesome because they’re always mixed up so they target different areas. While it was tough at first (could not walk for a week after the first session!), I’ve found that I’m really enjoying the sessions and I’m much fitter than pre-baby. I will keep coming as long as Jude sleeps/stays in his pram!

  30. Love training with Carly and Sarah! In just 5 months they had me back to my pre-pregnancy weight and even fitter than I was before! They also made me addicted to training as they always make it fun. Each session is always different which I love! I have made some great friends along the way and little Anna loves seeing her little friends each week. Highly recommend Buggy Bootcamp 🙂 give it a go, you will be glad you did 🙂

    “For the last 6 months I have been actively involved and enjoying Buggy Bootcamp with Carly. I never would have thought that bootcamp style exercise would be so addictive. After my first session I thought I would never walk again but the pain I felt was ‘good pain’. The pain I knew would help me get back into shape after having a baby and I have been addicted ever since.

    On average I am attending Buggy Bootcamp 3 times/week and absolutely love it – the diversity of each session, the new challenges Carly throws at us, all the different mums and bubs I have met along the way and most importantly the increase in fitness I have achieved.     “I can’t recommend Buggy Bootcamp highly enough.

    Firstly, it has given me my body back. After pregnancy I had lost confidence in my physical ability and felt fragile. Through Buggy Bootcamp I have been able to gradually build up my fitness so I feel like me again! Carly structures the exercises so that you are always being pushed – right from the first time you go and are doing exercises at an “easy” level through to when you’re a bit fitter but wish Carly would let you cheat by allowing you to choose the easier option.

    Secondly, for the first time in my life I have some upper body strength. I’ve never been one for doing weights but the variety of exercises keeps the bootcamp interesting and motivating. Most importantly, it means I’ve now got the strength to lift and play with my baby boy.
