In the two and a half months since starting Buggy Bootcamp, (baby now 6 months) and I am so happy with the fitness and strength I have regained having been left quite weak after pregnancy. The Monday night (no kids) yoga session is the highlight of my week. This hour each week is my time to decompress, uncrumple, reflect, relax and remember that there is a ‘me’ included in being a Mum. Go try it!
Buggy bootcamp has really helped me get back into fitness after the birth of my second child. It is a perfect mix of cardio and strength work in an unbeatable location. Carly and Lindsay are great trainers and the seasons are designed to be a good work out for all fitness levels. It is also great socially and has definitely been one of the highlights of my maternity leave, I 100% recommend it.
An amazing way to get back into exercise with a baby and be really pushed to the limit! Flexible sessions work with the ever changing baby schedules!
The whole concept is excellent but the experience is better than can be described! The trainers are wonderful-knowledgeable on safe return to exercise as well as entertaining, make new like-minded friends, have fun, get fit, feel better, maybe even lose some baby weight. I feel stronger from the inside out as well as in the mind. It’s a slow road from pregnancy and birth but you’re in safe hands coming here. The babies “love” it as much as babies love anything 😂 but the trainers are awesome at rocking them to sleep and entertaining the bigger ones. I will HATE having to leave when I go back to work, it’s made my maternity leave even more special. Keep it up ladies! 💃😎
Honestly the best part of my week. Gets us out of the house, and as an added bonus, exercising with like-minded Mums. There’s absolutely no pressure or judgement which is great. So good for the mind as well as the body. The trainers are excellent (whipping us into shape but also as babysitters!)
I love the flexibility of the membership. Life with a little baby doesn't always run smoothly and being able to judge on the day about if/which session I attend within my membership package is great. Doing burpees looking at the ocean also makes them just a little bit easier to do.
Fantastic trainers and a priceless opportunity to meet likeminded people and get your heart rate up. It was by far the highlight of my first mat leave and I’m back again with number two. Thanks Carly and Lynsay for keeping me sane!
Absolutely the best thing I did on my maternity leave. A great solution to getting some exercise in while the bubs are being minded by the trainer just by your side. Great location and always helped me start my day feeling good and positive getting outdoors, especially when you have those sleepless nights with your bubs. The other mums were all lovely and supportive and it was another great way to meet new people on the same journey as you. Great crew and can’t recommend enough!
As a second time mum without a mums group for #2 my buggy Bootcamp crew became my daily mind body and soul workout. Working my body to get fit safely after having my baby, working my mind by engaging with like minded people and sharing our experiences and offering great advice and soul having a great chat and laugh and definitely coffee along the way! I’ve definitely met some friends for life! The trainers are awesome and you’ll definitely get up to speed with the real world with lyndsays daily bulletins! An amazing business with fantastic trainers 👍🏻 Doing burpees looking at the ocean also makes them just a little bit easier to do.
Buggy bootcamp got me back in shape physically and mentally after having a baby. The trainers tailor workouts to your abilities so you never feel left behind and the trainers really make an effort to ensure you’re doing what’s right for your body. Its fantastic that you don’t have to book in - just turn up to whatever session works for you around naps and baby dramas. exercising on manly beach front is absolutely beautiful. Buggy bootcamp made excerpting after a baby so easy, would highly recommend.

Exercising outside with amazing trainers and likeminded mums was a great way to spend many mornings on mat leave :)The other mums were all lovely and supportive and it was another great way to meet new people on the same journey as you. Loved Buggy boot camp! Can’t beat the location, the trainers are fun and friendly and the workouts were challenging! It was so nice to be able to exercise with bub and meet some lovely ladies along the way! Honestly one of the highlights of my maternity leave!!
Love Buggy Bootcamp! After a tiring evening/night looking after bub a morning of high intensity exercise is exactly what’s needed to start the day in a positive way! Buggy Bootcamp trainers Lindsay and Carly create fun and varied workouts and with views over Manly beach each session gets those natural endorphins going. Safe exercise is emphasized with a physio check up recommended before starting and the trainers are great at modifying to suit everyone’s requirements. Recommended to all mums out there looking for a social and friendly way to keep fit!!
Such an amazing group of women running and attending the sessions. Even after a bad night with the bub the community motivates you to get there. And the workouts hit the spot too. I never want to go back into a dusty, boring gym after exercising with great people while watching the Manly surf.
Buggy bootcamp was exactly what I needed in my life to get back into shape after having my Bub! It is really awesome training with likeminded mums and the trainers really care about you and your body (post birth). It’s a great way to get fit, be outdoors on beautiful manly beach, meet other local mums and all with your Bub in tow.
It was not only great way to get my fitness back after having a baby… but also great way to connect to other young mums and babies. Both Carly and Lindsay are great trainers and awesome girls. I felt supported and looked after.

Buggy bootcamp is the perfect mix of cardio and strength work in an unbeatable location. I have always hated group training session but with Carly and Lynsay as trainers I can’t wait for the next session. (Even if it is to hear one of Lynsay news updates or the coffee afterwards). As a new mum it is great to get you up out the house and fell sane again. It has definitely been one of the highlights of my maternity leave and 100% recommend it.

Buggy Bootcamp is a great fitness option for new and second (or third) time Mums. I joined BBC when I have my first child and back again with my second. The sessions make the most of limited ‘free’ time busy Mums have. The trainers are excellent and there are plenty of opportunities to compare baby notes with like minded people.
Thank you for creating such an amazing community. It’s incredible what some exercise and conversation with lovely mums can do to set you up for a good day. If more women had access to a community/activity like this there would be much lower rates of post natal depression. In fact, I think NSW Health should give you a few grants 🙂
Love Buggy Bootcamp! Getting outdoors and exercising in the fresh air with amazing ocean views and other like-minded mums. You go at your own pace and ability. Every session is different, so lots of variety from trainers Carly and Lynsay – who are both excellent. I highly recommend Buggy Bootcamp to make you feel good, inside and out!
Love being on mat leave even more because of BB – best thing i could have signed up for. Options for start times depending on how bub is doing, the outdoor setting is motivation enough, both Carly & Lindsay are superb trainers, the group of girls you get to mix with are fantastic. Highly recommend – gets the energy flowing and each class is different so never a dull workout.

Buggy Bootcamp has been a saviour in becoming a new mum. Being outside in a beautiful setting, keeping fit with mum’s in a similar boat. Awesome and given me the kick in the butt I needed to shed the baby fat! The trainers are super friendly and modify where needed and I would highly recommend!

I joined Buggy Bootcamp four months after having my baby. I had tried two other training options prior to finding Carly but this is group training, at its BEST!!! The sessions are never the same, she understands each client’s ability and keeps you motived. For me as a new mum it was really important to find a trainer that had experience, not just a qualification. Carly is not just a trainer but an athlete herself and her experience and knowledge for fitness is outstanding. I also can’t speak highly enough of Lynsay who also is part of both these groups. Her circuit and strength training was one of my favourite classes. Offering classes 5 days a week with a flexible timetable, it’s easy to get fit, have fun, meet new people and fit it into your day. I highly recommend Buggy Bootcamp for all new mums. Such a fantastic way to stay fit, socialize with other mums and motivation to get out of the house after those dreaded sleepless nights. Almost a year since joining, my little one now loves joining in on the fun playing with other older babies and watching her mum run around. Carly and Lindsay make each session exciting and different. Not to mention the amazing location overlooking the beach, the monthly coffee catch ups, the high number of sessions on the timetable, the new friends I have made…I can’t praise buggy bootcamp enough – clearly!
Buggy bootcamp is such a great way to get back into exercise after having a baby. The trainers are fantastic and the classes are alway new and challenging. You can’t get a much better spot for a workout than the beach front and I always leave feeling so good which is a bonus as a new mum. Another bonus is meeting other new mums and now my baby is a bit older she loves playing on the grass and with other babies. I honestly couldn’t recommend buggy bootcamp enough.
Buggy Bootcamp (and the non-buggy version, OzSquad) are amazing! The sessions were just what I needed after each of my pregnancies. Carly creates the most unique classes I have ever experienced – they are always varied, challenging, focused, sociable and fun. Buggy Bootcamp was the best decision to get my fitness back after having my daughter – Exercising outdoors, by the beach, is a great incentive to get up and out for the day. I love the variety of exercises set in each training session, meaning you never get bored doing the same thing. Carly and Lynsay are so lovely and fun and they definitely know how to safely push you to get the most out of your training! I have nothing but great things to say about the sessions! I love how varied they are and how each one pushes me to my limits! Buggy bootcamp is much better suited to me than what joining a gym would be as I know that I wouldn’t work as hard on my own so the motivation that we receive from yourself, Lynsay and Vanessa in the sessions is invaluable! I am really starting to notice a difference in my fitness levels. Being new to Sydney then social side of Buggy bootcamp has also been great for me! It has enabled me to build networks with other like minded mums who I wouldn’t have had the opportunity of meeting otherwise.
Buggy Bootcamp has honestly been one of the best things I’ve done since having my daughter! Not only does it start the day so well for me and I feel alive, but Carly and Lynsay are honestly the best trainers about. It’s a great combo of meeting people and being social as well as getting a really good work out. I was back to my pre-pregnancy shape much faster than I ever expected before. The other girls are all like minded souls and I’ve found it really useful to meet mums with babies of different ages as you get a different perspective than just your mums group where our babies are all the same age. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Am gutted to be leaving 🙁
One of the best decisions that I made on my maternity leave. There is no way that I would have committed to doing the level of exercise that Buggy Bootcamp provides without with the support and enthusiasm of Carly (& Sarah). It’s also a great reason to get out of the house in those early months, when it can all be a bit hectic. As I also have only a moderate level of fitness, I appreciated the different levels offered and of course the supportive bub-friendly environment.

I was really nervous to get back into exercise especially with a baby and pram in tow. I had anxiety that my baby was going to scream the whole time and it was going to be a nightmare but I think all the bubs love being out and about! The training is as hard as you want it to be, the location couldn’t be better and Carly is so lovely and encouraging. I highly recommend giving it a go.

The other week I felt my tricep for the first time whilst driving! I didn’t even know it was my tricep until Carly told me! That’s how clueless I was to fitness before Buggy Bootcamp. I started buggy bootcamp when bubba was 7 weeks, now 12 weeks and I feel great, actually amazing. I can’t imagine a better way to train -it’s on manly beach with motivating and fun mums and I can bring bubba. I started with just one a week and at week 10, stepped it up to unlimited and aim to go 4 times a week now. I have heaps more energy, one dress size down and have another great support group. I’m very glad Carly came into our mums group and ‘flyered’ us up! Has been a great motivation to get moving, especially when you’re still finding your way with a small baby – and the best thing about it is that you can go your own pace. Sessions are awesome because they’re always mixed up so they target different areas. While it was tough at first (could not walk for a week after the first session!), I’ve found that I’m really enjoying the sessions and I’m much fitter than pre-baby. I will keep coming as long as Jude sleeps/stays in his pram!
